Synopsis
The film Kaapa is based on the Goonda Act in Kerala also called as Kerala Antisocial Activities Prevention Act (KAAPA). The script of the film is based on Indugopan's famous novel Shankumukhi. Kappa's story is told against the backdrop of local goons in Thiruvananthapuram. What happens when the name of an innocent girl appears in KAAPA - the list of most wanted people in Kerala. Based in Thiruvananthpuram district of Kerala, the movie is about the twists and turns that follow. Prithviraj's look in the film and his role as Kottamadhu have already garnered attention on social media and created a lot of buzz around it. Apart from Prithviraj and Aparna, the film also stars Asif Ali and Anna Ben in the lead roles. Dileesh Pothan, Jagadish, and Nandu also star in the film. Kaapa is also the first movie that is produced and released by FEFKA Writers Union in association with Saregama and Theatres Of Dreams.
