You can use any other Micro-USB cable with a power bank or any Android phone/tablet charger that has a Micro-USB cable to charge Sleep by Saregama Carvaan

What is the Auto-off timer function on Sleep by Saregama Carvaan?

Auto-off timer function gives you an option to set the unit for 15/30/60 mins on any particular song, the unit will automatically turn off after the selected duration is played.

You need to manually turn on the unit again to use it.

Can I connect my Phone via Aux to play my own songs on Sleep by Saregama Carvaan?

No, as the unit supports Aux out & not Aux in, you cannot connect your Phone / Tablet to Sleep by Saregama Carvaan to play songs of your choice, you can however connect your earphones / headphones via the Aux out port & listen to the pre-loaded tracks

Sleep by Saregama Carvaan comes with 6 months warranty. Warranty will be valid only when the Warranty Card or original Purchase Invoice is presented.

The warranty covers the following:

• Saregama reserves the right to decline warranty service, if the above documents are not presented or if the information contained is incomplete or the Warranty Card is found to be tampered with
• Repair or replacement will be carried out through the Company's Service Centers or its Authorised Service Centers / Dealers
• This warranty applies only to Products purchased within the territory of India ("Territory").
• This Warranty shall not cover any damages resulting from un-authorized adaptations or adjustments to the product.
• This Warranty will be void if the serial no. on the product has been altered, removed or defaced.
• This Warranty does not cover damage caused to the product due to improper usage by the customer or incorrect connection of the product to any external equipment which not approved by Saregama. Any deficiency in product performance due to signal reception through third party equipment or third-party software will not be under the purview of this warranty
• This Warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear to the memory card, speaker, battery and display panel if the product is used in commercial, business, industrial, educational or rental applications.
• This Warranty shall not apply to damages caused to the product by accident, lightening, fire, abnormal voltage, while in transit to service center or purchaser's residence water or liquid spillages, sudden drops, acts of God, excessive shock or any external cause beyond Saregama's control and/or any damage caused due to tampering of the product by an unauthorized agent
• This Warranty does not cover liability for loss of data. If the content of the memory is altered, deleted, or in any way modified, Saregama shall not be responsible and if serviced under warranty, the product will be returned configured as originally purchased.
• Saregama reserves the right to replace the defective part with an equivalent and/or reconditioned unit.
• Saregama will retain any replaced part/s or component/s
• The company's obligation shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of part/s only with maximum claim/s, if entertained by the company, limited to the purchase price
• Technological advances and Product availability status may result in your receiving a replacement product with a lower selling price than the original Product you purchased. Product equivalence will be determined by solely by Saregama.
• The warranty is issued at Kolkata, and Courts at Kolkata shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters covered or flowing from this warranty.

In case of an Online purchase / purchase through any retail store / shop, customer can report the issue by calling our Toll Free no. 18001027799 and emailing us the copy of the invoice on feedback@saregama.com or can directly email the issue on feedback@saregama.com with the copy of the invoice.

Once a complaint is received with a valid invoice copy, pickup and delivery of the product will be arranged by Saregama. The replacement will be offered at no additional charges

Warranty period i.e. 6 months from date of purchase and will be accepted only if the invoice is shared with Saregama while raising a warranty claim.

In absence of a valid invoice, product will be considered out of warranty.

In case of out of warranty, the service charges to be borne by the customer are as follows:

• Service charge for Sleep by Saregama Carvaan - Rs 550/- (Plus spare part cost)

After repairs/replacement, warranty will remain only for the unexpired period of the warranty. No extension of warranty period will be done

Saregama Sleep by Saregama Carvaan Policy will retain any replaced part/s or component/s

What is Replacement Policy?

The product will be replaced only if the product is still under warranty and the issue is found to be irreparable.

What is Dead on Arrival Policy?

Dead on arrival applies when a newly purchased product does not function at all. In such a case, it will be replaced free of cost by our service centre. To report such a case mail as on feedback@saregama.com. or call us on 18001027799 (9:00 am to 9:00 pm) or WhatsApp us on 8657499000.

If the product is found defective after checking by the service centre then a new product or equivalent product will be issued against the faulty product. Under all circumstances, the decision whether Product is DOA or not rests solely with Saregama. Dead on arrival doesn't apply to the following cases:

• If the product has been damaged / tampered/mishandled with by the customer
• If the customer is not able to provide the original invoice
• Loss of any spare part by the customer
• Any other wear and tear caused to the product by the customer
• Any issues related to any 3rd party products/services from any unauthorized Sleep by Saregama Carvaan dealer
• Products damaged while being used DO NOT qualify for a refund or replacement but can be taken up in warranty

What is the Refund/ return Policy?

Any refund will be made only in case the order is cancelled before the dispatch. If the product has been dispatched to the customer, no refund shall be done.
