What is the Saregama Classical app?

The Saregama Classical app offers you the best of Fusion, Carnatic and Hindustani. The app hosts a large collection of some of the finest audios and videos from maestros like Zakir Hussain, MS Subbulakshmi, Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and many other legends.


On what devices can I use the Saregama Classical app?

You can access the Saregama Classical on the following devices:

· Android - all devices with OS versions 4 and above.

· iOS - all devices with OS 7 and above.


Can I use Saregama Classical on my desktop?

No, this app is available only on Android and iOS based devices.


In which countries is the app available?

Saregama Classical app is available across the globe on Android and iOS devices.


What happens if I delete my app and install it again?

If you delete and reinstall the app immediately, your trial status/ subscription status will continue to persist i.e. if your trial period was active when you deleted the app, it will continue to be active even when you reinstall the app. Similarly, if you were subscribed when you deleted the app, your subscription will continue to persist when you reinstall the app However, if you reinstall the app after a few days or an extended period, you will be able to access the app based on your trial/ subscription validity


I can't find 'My Account' in the menu?

Go to the main menu and select 'My Profile', it will take you to 'My Account' page.

 

SIGN UP AND REGISTRATION

Is sign in mandatory to access the app?

To ensure all our users are able to explore all the features and content on the app in a hassle free manner, sign in has not been made mandatory unless you wish to subscribe.


What are the different modes of sign in?

You can sign in via Facebook, G+, email ID or mobile no.


I have entered a valid email ID, but I am unable to sign in. Why?

When you enter your email ID, you will receive a verification link from Saregama Classical on the entered email ID. To access the app, you will need to click on the verification link. When you click on this link, you will be redirected to the app and auto logged in. You don't require any pin/ password to enter the app.

Remember, the email you receive will be from 'Account Kit'.

If you are unable to locate this email in your inbox, go back to the app and tap 'RESEND EMAIL'.

If you wish to go back to your pre signed in state, please kill the app and re-launch it.


I have logged in using my mobile no. on an Android device. Can I use the same mobile no. to sign in to my iOS device?

You can use the same mobile no. that you have used on an Android device to sign in to the app on an iOS device. To sign in using the same mobile no. on your iOS device follow the steps listed below:

a. Go to the main menu of the app and tap �Sign in�

b. Click on Sign in via mobile no.

c. Enter the mobile no.

d. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile no.

e. Enjoy using Saregama Classical


I initially signed in to Saregama Classical using my Facebook account. I want to now sign in using my email ID. Will I be able to do this?

To sign in to the app using email ID, follow the steps listed below:

a. Open the app and click on 'Sign in via Email ID'

b. Enter the email ID

c. Go to the email ID and find the email sent by 'Account Kit'

d. Click on the verification link in this email

e. You will be redirected to the app and logged in

To ensure continuity of subscription, offlined content etc., please ensure that you use the same email ID that was used to sign in on Facebook.


I was signed in to the app using my email ID. I was forced to update the app. What happens when I upgrade the app?

If you were signed in before upgrading the app, you will continue to be signed even after you upgrade the app.


I upgraded app and I am unable to view any My Favourites, My Offlined etc. Why?

You were probably not signed in to the app when you upgraded it. Follow the steps below to sign in and view your My Favourites, My Offlined etc.:

a. Open the app and choose to sign in via email ID

b. Enter the email ID with which you had signed in earlier

c. Go to your email account and find the email by Account Kit

d. Click on the verification link

e. You will be redirected to the app and auto signed in


I am unable to access the app unless I upgrade it. Will my subscription continue if I upgrade?

Yes. Your subscription will continue even if you upgrade the app. Please remember to sign in to the app using the same credentials that you were registered with. If you were already signed in, when you upgraded the app, you will continue to enjoy your subscription in a seamless manner.

 

TRIAL PERIOD

How do I sample music on Saregama Shakti?

Once you download the app, your 7 day free trial period will start automatically. During this period, you will be able to use all features of the app such as streaming radio, on demand audio and video content. You can also use other features such playlists, favourites, share etc. Post the free trial period, subscription to the app is mandatory.


I am in my free trial period, however, I am unable to offline a song. Why?

Sign in to the app is mandatory to offline content irrespective of whether you are in trial period or not.


When I first downloaded the app, I could access all the sections of the app. Why am I unable to do so now?

When you downloaded the app, your 7 day free trial period would have automatically been enabled. Your trial period is probably over. To continue enjoying content on Saregama Classical, please sign in and subscribe to the app.


Will my free trial period get forfeited if I choose to subscribe during the trial period?

You may choose to subscribe to the app at any given point in time.

If you are on an Android device and if:

� You choose to subscribe to Saregama Classical using Operator billing, Credit card, Debit card, Net banking or PayTM your subscription will come into effect only once your free trial period is over

� You choose to subscribe through Google wallet, the remaining validity of your trial period would be forfeited and your subscription will come into effect immediately.

If you are on an iOS device, the remaining validity of your trial period would be forfeited and your subscription will come into effect immediately.

 

FEATURES

What are the features of the Saregama Classical app?

Below are some of the key features of the app:

· Editor's Choice Channels

There are a total of specially 50 curated editor's choice channels across genres, artistes and instruments. This feature works exactly like the traditional broadcast radio i.e.it has a list of pre-programmed songs along with information nuggets about artistes/instruments, song etc. As a special feature, you would also be able to see upcoming track listed on your editor's choice channel player.

· Offline

Offline allows you to save an audio or video within the app, so that you can listen to it even when you are not connected to the internet.

· Artiste based songs/ instrument based songs

When you select to tune into specific artiste/ instrument based stations, you can choose to either listen to editor's choice channel or individual songs of that artiste. You can select any individual song from the list to stream/ offline.

· What's new

o You can discover the audios and videos we have recently added to the app under this section

· Specials

o You can enjoy our editor's recommended playlist under the Specials section on the app

· Film based songs

o You can listen to bollywood and tamil film songs based on Raagas

o Each song is complemented by a commentary that describes how the raaga has been used in that specific song

· Classical Videos

o You can stream or offline videos


Can I access all features of the app irrespective of whether I have the internet or not?

When you are connected to the internet, you can access the entire app and enjoy features such as streaming, offlining, sharing etc. If you are not connected to the internet, you can only enjoy listening to the songs or watching videos that you have already offlined.


I heard an editor's choice programme yesterday, but can't find it today. Why?

We constantly refresh content on all our editor's choice channels so that you always have something new to listen to. We also shuffle our editor's choice channels to give you variety of content. We may have shuffled the songs or replaced that editor's choice channel with another artiste/ instrument based station and hence it isn't available when you try to find it again.


I heard a song under 'Specials' yesterday, but can't find it today. Why?

We constantly refresh content on the Specials section so that you always have something new to listen to. We may have shuffled the songs and hence it isn't available when you try to find it again.


I heard a song under 'What's new' yesterday, but can't find it today. Why?

We constantly add newer songs to the 'What's new' section on the app. As and when the newer songs are added, the older songs will be replaced accordingly. You can listen to the older songs under the specific artiste or instrument of a particular category.


How do I turn off the commentary in the 'Film Music' section?

When you go to the film music section, there is a commentary icon next to the 'Filter by Raagas' tab. To turn off commentary, slide this icon to the left. Alternatively, if you want to turn on commentary, slide this icon to the right.


Can I pause an editor's choice channel?

No you cannot pause an editor's choice channel. You can only start/exit an editor's choice channel.


There are some songs, I can see under editor's choice channel. What is that?

When you select to tune into specific artiste/ instrument based stations, you can choose to either listen to editor's choice channel or individual songs of that artiste. You can select any individual song from the list to stream/ offline.


Can I download songs from the app?

You cannot save the songs onto your local device from the app. However, you can offline the songs and listen to it within the app itself.


I really like a song on the app. Can I purchase the song?

Subscription to the app allows you to offline songs/ stream as many times as you want. However, these songs cannot be purchased individually within the app.


What is the 'offline' feature?

The offline feature allows you to save songs within the app itself. You can listen to all the offlined content even without the internet and save internet costs. Sign in to the app is mandatory to offline a song/ video. To offline an audio or video, tap on the 3 dots on the right hand side of your screen and tap 'Offline'. To access the list of all the offlined content, go to the homepage on the app and select 'My Offlined'.


Does the offlined content belong to me forever?

No. You will be able to access offline content within the app till your subscription is valid.


Can I offline the songs from the in-app editor's choice channel?

No. Editor's choice channel is just like a broadcast radio and hence songs cannot be offlined from here. You can look at offlining the songs from the artiste/ instrument based list available.


There is a mic icon next to a few song under 'My Offlined Songs' and 'My Favourites' tab. What does this icon represent?

In the Film Music section, each song is complemented with a commentary. When you favourite or offline a song, you can decide whether you want to favourite or offline with commentary or not. The mic icon represents the songs that have been marked as favourite or offlined along with the commentary.


From the film music section I have already offlined a song without commentary. Can I offline the same song with commentary as well?

Yes. You can offline the song again with the commentary. Your offlined song, will now show two separate listing - one with the commentary (represented with a mic icon) and one without. You may choose to delete either version at any given point in time.


I heard a song under 'Thursday morning Raaga' , but I couldn't find it when I returned to the section at evening. Why?

We constantly refresh content on the Hindustani Raaga section so that you always have something new to listen to. The content is refreshed basis the raaga that is rendered during that specific part of the day. We may have shuffled the content basis the raaga specific to that day part and hence it isn't available when you try to find it again.


I heard a song under 'Theme of the day' section yesterday , but I couldn't find it today. Why?

We constantly refresh content under 'Theme of the day' section so that you always have something new to listen to. We may have shuffled the content and hence it isn't available when you try to find it again.


My subscription is over and I wish to delete the offlined content within the app. What should I do?

To delete offlined content, go to the homepage of the app and select 'My Offlined'. Then tap on checkboxes of any/ all content you wish to delete and tap 'delete'.


What is the 'playlist' feature?

The playlist feature allows you to create a customized playlist of all the audios and videos that you have liked on the app. To create an audio playlist, tap on the 3 dots on the right hand side of your screen, tap 'Add' and name your relevant playlist. To access the playlist, go to the 'My Playlist' tab under the main menu of the app.


How do I create a list of favourite songs on the app?

To mark as favourite, go to the audio or video of your choice; tap the 3 dots on the right hand side of your screen and tap the heart icon.

You can later access the list of all your favourite content from 'My Favourites' from the homepage of the app.


 

SHARE

What is 'Share'?

The 'share' feature allows you to share a link of a particular audio or video with your friends, family etc. via Whatsapp, Facebook, text message, email etc.


I liked a song on the app. Can I 'share' the song file with friend?

You can only share the link of a particular audio or video file with your friends.

· If the app is installed on your friend's device, clicking the link will start the playout of the audio/video

· If the app is not installed on your friend's device, he/she would be redirected to Google Play store/ Apple App store to download the app

I have registered on Saregama Classical using an Android device. How can I subscribe to the app?

To subscribe, please follow the process given below:

· Go to 'Subscribe' under 'My Account' from the main menu on the app

· Select payment mechanisms

·o You can choose between Google Wallet, Credit/Debit Card payment, Net Banking, Operator Billing or PayTM

· Select your subscription plan

· Complete payment process

What subscription plans are available?

You can now choose between monthly, semi-annual and annual subscription plans. The pricing is as follows:

· For Apple Users

o Quarterly - 9.99 USD

o Annual - 29.99 USD

· For Android Users paying through Credit/ Debit card, Net Banking

o Monthly - 2.99 USD

o Quarterly - 9.99 USD

o Annual - 29.99 USD


How can I renew the subscription?

If you have subscribed to Saregama Classical using Google wallet, PayTM wallet, or Apple ID, your subscription will be auto renewed.

If you have subscribed using an Android device and have paid using Credit Card , Debit Card, Net Banking or Operator Billing, you will have to renew your subscription manually.

You can renew your subscription at any given point in time. The new subscription validity will be appended to your existing subscription plan.

To renew your subscription on your Android device, follow the process given below:

· Go to 'Subscribe' under 'My Account' from the main menu on the app

· Select payment mechanisms

o Choose between Credit/Debit Card payment, Net Banking or Operator Billing

· Select the subscription plan

· Complete payment process

· Enjoy nonstop music on Saregama Classical


I am using an iOS device, I have not subscribed to the app, but my iTunes account been charged. Why?

When you agreed to opt for the free trial, you would have been asked to choose a subscription plan. On selection of a subscription plan, you would have given your consent (by entering your iTunes password) to start payment for this plan once the trial period is over. It is likely that your trial period is over and hence your account has been charged.

If you do not wish to continue with the subscription, please follow the process below:

· On the Home screen of your iphone/ ipad, tap Settings

· Tap App Store

· Tap your Apple ID

· Tap view Apple ID. You might need to sign in

· Under Subscriptions, tap Manage

· Tap Saregama Classical under subscriptions

· Turn off auto renewal


Where can I see my subscription/renewal details?

To check your subscription validity at any time, go to "My Account" on the main menu of the app.


I have opted for Operator billing. How does it work?

· If you have a prepaid connection, the subscription amount will be deducted from your prepaid balance.

· If you have a postpaid connection, the subscription amount will be added to your phone bill for that month. Once your subscription is over, you will have to manually renew it using operator billing or any other method of payment.


My operator is not listed under Operator billing. Why?

It is our constant endeavor to improve our services to enable you to enjoy Saregama Classical to the maximum. We are in discussion with different operators to expand our existing payment options. However, this may take time. Until then, you may choose any other payment options from the list.


How can I discontinue the subscription?

Process for iOS users:

o On the Home screen of your iphone/ ipad, tap Settings

o Tap App Store

o Tap your Apple ID

o Tap view Apple ID. You might need to sign in

o Under Subscriptions, tap Manage

o Tap Saregama Classical under subscriptions

o Turn off auto renewal

Process for Android users:

o And if you have paid via Google wallet: go to settings and turn off auto renewal

o If you have paid via PayTM: go to "My Account" on the main menu of the app and tap "Cancel Subscription"

o And if you have paid via Operator billing/Credit / Debit card/ Net Banking: Your subscription plan will automatically be discontinued post the expiry of your existing plan


I am subscribed to Saregama Classical on a monthly plan. I am subscribed to the app through my PayTM wallet. Will I be denied access to the app, if I don�t have sufficient balance in my PayTM wallet?

If you have subscribed to Saregama Classical through PayTM wallet, and if the balance in your wallet is not sufficient to accommodate renewals, you will experience the following:

You will be given a grace period of 30 days to top up your wallet. During this period you can continue using all the features of the app. When you top up your wallet, you will be charged for the current month. Please remember, you will be able to enjoy the benefits of grace period only once on your account.

If you have already consumed the grace period, and your PayTM wallet continues to have insufficient balance, you will no longer be able to access content on this app. Whenever you top up your wallet, your account will be charged for the grace period as well as the current month.


I am subscribed to Saregama Classical on a monthly plan and have paid through my PayTM wallet.I want to now pay using any other payment mechanism. What do I do?

· Go to My Accounts page under the main menu on the app

o Tap 'Cancel Subscription'

o Once your PayTM subscription expires, go to 'Payment' under the main menu on the app

o Select the subscription plan

o Select the payment mechanism

o Choose between Google wallet, credit/debit card payment, Net Banking or Operator Billing

o Complete the payment process


How can I upgrade from a monthly subscription to semi - annual or annual subscription?

The process to upgrade/ downgrade the subscription plan is as below:

· For iOS users

o On the Home screen of your iphone/ ipad, tap Settings

o Tap App Store

o Tap your Apple ID

o Tap view Apple ID. You might need to sign in

o Under Subscriptions, tap Managev

o Tap Saregama Classical under subscriptions to upgrade/ downgrade

o The new subscription plan will come into effect post expiry of the existing plan

·For Android users

   o Cancel your existing subscription

   o Go to 'Payment' on the main menu of the app

Why am I unable to use a coupon code on my iOS device?

Sorry. At present, coupon codes can be applied on Android devices only.


I have subscribed to Saregama Classical via Google wallet. I have received a free coupon code. Why am I unable to use it?

Coupon codes can be used only if you have registered on Saregama Classical using an Android device and subscribed via credit card, debit card, net Banking or Operator billing.

Kindly disable auto renewal on your Google account.

Once your subscription has expired, you will be able to renew your subscription using the coupon code (if it is still valid).

Make sure you pay via any mode of payment other than Google wallet.


I have subscribed to Saregama Classical via PayTM wallet . I have received a coupon. Why am I unable to use it?

You can use coupon codes only when you make your first transaction through PayTM . Since your subscription is in auto renew mode, you will be unable to use the coupon code.

To use the coupon code, kindly go to 'My Account' under the main menu on the app and tap 'Cancel subscription'.

Once your cancellation request is registered, go to 'Apply Coupons' under the main menu on the app and enter the coupon code, you will be able to take advantage of the coupon code (if it is still valid).


Why is the 'Apply Coupons' section in the main menu on the app greyed out on my Android device?

The 'Apply Coupons' section on the app is disabled in the following scenarios:

· If you have registered and subscribed to the app using an iOS device, your subscription will already be in auto renewal mode, hence, you cannot subscribe from any other device. Since you cannot subscribe from another device, the usage of coupons has been restricted

· If you have registered and subscribed to the app using Google Wallet or PayTM on your Android device. In this case, your subscription will already be in auto renewal mode, hence, you cannot subscribe from any other device. Since you cannot subscribe from another device, the usage of coupons has been restricted


I am currently in my free trial period on Saregama Classical on an Android device. I have received a coupon that allows me Rs. 30 off on my annual subscription. I want to subscribe to the app using PayTM wallet. Will my subscription be renewed at the discounted price or at full value?

If you use the coupon and subscribe to the app using PayTM, you will be entitled to avail the coupon benefit only for your first subscription cycle. You will be charged the full value of the subscription plan at the time of renewal.


I have a coupon that gives me a discount on my monthly subscription. Can I use it for a semi- annual subscription?

No. the coupon code is applicable only for a specific subscription plan and cannot be used interchangeably.


I have registered on Saregama Classical using an Android device. I am currently in my free trial period. I have received a coupon code that allows me a discount on my monthly subscription. Will my trial period be forfeited if I subscribe to the app?

You may choose to subscribe to the app at any given point in time.

If you choose to subscribe to Saregama Classical using Operator billing, Credit card, Debit card, PayTM or Net banking your subscription will come into effect only once your free trial period is over.

No. Your free usage period will begin post the expiry of your existing free trial period. The new usage period will be appended to your existing subscription validity.

To check your subscription validity, go to 'My Account' on the main menu of the app.


I am currently subscribed to the Saregama Classical app on my Android device through Operator Billing. I have received a coupon code that allows me a discount on my next monthly subscription. Can I subscribe immediately or do I have to wait for my existing subscription to expire?

You can subscribe to the app at any point in time. The new subscription validity will be appended to your existing subscription plan. Remember, you can use coupon codes only if you choose to pay via Operator Billing, Net Banking, Debit Card , PayTM or Credit Card.

I am based in USA and I have registered on Saregama Classical on an Android device. I have received a coupon code from my friend in India that allows me a discount of Rs 10 on my monthly subscription. Can I use this coupon code?

Sorry! You are not eligible to use this coupon code. This coupon code is valid for use only in India.


Can I use the same coupon code multiple times?

No. You cannot re-use a coupon code.


Please guide me what to do. I am currently subscribed to Saregama Classical on an Android device for the month of December. I have just received a coupon code which enables a discount on subscription if I pay upfront for the month of December to February. Can I use this coupon code?

Once you have subscribed to the app for a particular month, no coupon/ offer can be accrued towards the same month. In your case, since you are already subscribed for the month of December, you will be unable to use this coupon since it gives you a benefit for the month of December to February.


Please guide me what to do. I have received a coupon that allows me a discount on subscription for the month of December. I use this coupon to subscribe to the app. The next day, I receive another coupon code which will allows me a higher discount for the month of December. Can I use this coupon code?

Once you have subscribed to the app for a particular month, no coupon/ offer can be accrued towards the same month. In your case, since you are already subscribed for the month of December, you will be unable to use this coupon since it gives you a benefit for the month of December.


Is there any expiry to the coupon code?

Yes. Each coupon code comes with an expiry date. You can use the coupon code only during its validity

 

LINKING/DELINKING A DEVICE

What is linking/delinking of devices?

Your existing subscription allows you to pay on one device and enjoy service on total of 4 devices. To link, download the app on your second device and use the same sign in credentials as on the first device.


I am trying to link a 5th device to my email ID, but I am unable to do so. Why?

You can link up to 4 devices under one registered email ID. To link the 5th device, you will have to delink any one of the already linked devices.


I tried to sign in on a device using my Saregama Classical sign in credentials. I am presented with a 'maximum limit exceeded' message. What does this mean?

You can link and enjoy Saregama Classical on upto four different devices using the same login ID.

The 'maximum limit exceeded' message indicates that you have already used the same login credentials to sign in to Saregama Classical on 4 other devices.

To access Saregama Classical on a 5th device, delink any one of the previously linked devices.

To delink a device, choose either of the options below:

Option 1

a. Go to any of the previously linked devices

b. Ensure that you are logged in to Saregama Classical

c. Go to 'My Accounts' under the main menu of the app

d. Tap on linked devices

e. Tap 'Delink' next to any of the linked devices

f. Your device will be delinked successfully

Option 2

a. Sign in to a 5th device

b. Post sign in, you will be presented with a 'Maximum limit exceeded' message

a. Choose to delink a device from this message

c. You will be presented with a list of linked devices

d. Tap on 'Delink' next to any of the linked devices

The app mainly showcases Fusion, Hindustani and Carnatic songs. You can enjoy bollywood and Tamil film songs based on raagas as well.


Which artistes do you have on the app?

Our app showcases some of India's best artistes. This list includes:

· Carnatic Classical Music: M.S Subbulakshmi, Radha Viswanathan, Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna, Dr. N. Ramani, Kunnakkudi R. Vaidyanathan, R. Vedavalli, Lalgudi Jayaraman and many more.

· Hindustani Classical: Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Begum Parween, Ustad Amir Khan and many more.

Instrumental editor's choice channel is specially curated channel dedicated to particular instruments. We have channels for popular instruments like Tabla, Violin, Guitar, Mridangam, Veena etc.


Can I choose songs as per Raagas?

Yes, there are 2 ways you can search by Raagas:

· Select the main genre of music i.e. Hindustani or Carnatic and within that there are songs listed as per Raaga.

· You can also go to a specific artiste's page and then choose Raaga as a filter. This will display all songs by the artiste in that particular Raaga.


Do you add any new audios or videos on the app?

Yes. We constantly add newer audios or videos to the app. You can access all the new content that has been added to the app under the 'What's new' section on the homepage of the app

 

GIFT SUBSCRIPTION OF THE APP

I have received an SMS from Saregama informing me that a friend has gifted mean annual subscription of Saregama Classical. What does that mean?

This SMS from Saregama indicates a friend/ family member has paid for an annual subscription of Saregama Classical on your behalf. This entitles you to free usage of the app for a year. To take advantage of this gift, please activate your subscription before the expiry date mentioned in the SMS sent to you by Saregama.

To activate this free gift subscription follow the steps below:

i. If you have never installed the app on your phone:

a. Click on the link in the SMS

     i. The link will take you to the Saregama Classical app on the app store of your phone/ tablet

b. Download the app

c. Sign in to the app by tapping 'Sign in' from the main menu of the app

d. Click on sign in via mobile no. and enter the mobile no., on which you have received the SMS

e. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile no.

f. Your free gift subscription has now been activated

ii. If the app is already installed on your device and you fulfill any of the conditions below, please follow the steps here under

a. Conditions:

    i. You are currently in your trial period

    ii. Your trial period is over

    iii. You are subscribed to the app and have paid through credit card, debit card, net banking, operator billing

b. Steps:

     i. Click on the link in the SMS

       1. The link will take you to the app installed on your device

    ii. Sign in to the app (if not already done), using the mobile no. on which you have received the SMS

    iii. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile no.

    iv. Your gift subscription is now activated

iii. If the app is installed on your device and if you subscribed through Google wallet, PayTM and Apple ID, follow the steps below:

a. Disable auto renewal on your existing subscription

b. Once disabled, come back to the app and your gift subscription will be activated automatically


My friend has gifted me the Saregama Classical subscription. I have lost the app download link. What do I do?

To get the link to download the app again, follow the steps below:

a. Go to Google Play store or App store basis the device you are using

b. Search for Saregama Classical and download the app

c. Go to the main menu of the app and tap 'Sign in'

d. Choose to sign in via mobile no.

e. Enter the mobile no. on which you received the SMS from Saregama informing you about the gift

f. Once sign in completed, your gift subscription will be activated automatically


Can I redeem the gift subscription anytime?

Each gift subscription has an expiry period of 365 days from the date you receive it. You can redeem the gift subscription at any time before it expires.


I had paid via Google wallet for Saregama Classical. I have disabled my auto renewal to avail the benefit of the gift subscription. When will the validity of my gift subscription begin?

Please relaunch the app after you disable auto renewal. The gift subscription will automatically be attached to your account and the expiry date of your subscription will be extended accordingly.

To check the subscription validity date, please go to 'My Account' under the main menu of the app


How do I gift a subscription I have received a gift from a friend. Can I gift a subscription too?

Yes. You can gift the subscription to any friend/ family member.


Can I enjoy the same gift subscription on 2 devices?

Yes. You can enjoy the same gift subscription on upto 4 devices as long as the mobile no. used to sign in to the Saregama Classical app is the same


I am already a registered user (without an active subscription) on Saregama Classical. I have received a free subscription as a gift. How do I redeem it?

a. If the mobile no. with which you are currently signed in is same as the mobile no. on which the free gift subscription SMS has been sent by Saregama, then just open the app. Your subscription will be activated automatically.

b. If the mobile no. with which you are currently signed is different from the mobile no. on which the free gift subscription SMS has been sent by Saregama, then follow the steps below:

a. Go to the main menu of the app and tap 'sign out'

b. Go to the main menu of the app and tap 'sign in'

c. Choose to sign in via mobile no. and enter the mobile no., on which you have received the SMS

d. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile no.

e. Your free gift subscription has now been activated

c. If you had signed in using your email ID, follow the steps below:

a. Go to the main menu of the app and tap 'sign out'

b. Go to the main menu of the app and tap 'sign in'
